Nickel-chromium heat-resistant alloy Inconel 718

Inconel is usually used at high temperatures.

Inconel alloys are corrosion and oxidation resistant. When heated, Inconel forms a thin and stable passivating oxide layer, which protects the surface from further destruction. Inconel maintains durability in a wide range of temperatures, that is why it is suitable for some scopes of application which aluminium or steel are not suitable for.
